A normal battery will begin to degrade immediately and can lose up to 10% of their efficiency in the first 6 months. As well as working better for longer, you TAE BESS will also manage the power usage and ensure that any energy you are selling back to the grid is done at the optimum time, to maximise and income available. Furthermore, you can charge your electric vehicle directly from your BESS and with fuel costs having risen significantly this can be huge saving if you convert to using an EV. The BESS will also take any energy off your car during the peak time and recharge your car during off peak times.
